I had a great summer in Europe, with Germany being one of the highlights. Straight after Kitesurf Tour Europe in Italy I went up to Hamburg to meet up with the Makulo crew before heading to St. Peter Ording for the PKRA World Tour Event held 1-10 August.
The PKRA stop in Germany is the biggest one of the year, so it was great to take a part in it.
In addition to the competition, we had a lot of fun happenings going on with Makulo so it was never a boring moment. It was great fun to meet up with the team and working together!
After the event in St. Peter, I stayed 2 weeks in Germany working on some kite projects together with Makulo.
The whole thing turned out to be a never-ending adventure, roadtripping around to search for wind and great cables to shred together with Marit Nore, Anne Valvatne, Colleen Carroll and Manuela Jungo.
The Germany adventure ended with a big catamaran trip from Germany to Denmark searching for deserted kite spots.
All in all it was an amazing experience, and I’m really grateful that I got to take a part in all this. Huge thanks to Makulo for making this possible!!
Right now I’m in Egypt where I will be training for the autumn, and then let’s see where the winter will take me 🙂
